Ghat, 1 June 2015:
Two people were killed and three wounded in the troubled southwestern town of Obari when fresh . . .[restrict]clashes broke out this morning between Tebu and Tuareg fighters.
A source in the town, largely deserted by its mainly Tuareg residents, told the Libya Herald that the fighting started when Tuareg gunmen attacked Tebu forces. The fighting, involving heavy weapons, was still continuing this evening, but had shifted from the north of the town to the Disi agricultural project 10 kilometres east of Obari.
According to an official at the town’s hospital, a missile exploded in its ground during the fighting.
