Tripoli, 5 June 2015:
Islamic State (IS) negotiators are reported to have handed back three men from Harawa whom they seized . . .[restrict]during earlier attacks on the town.
The three were taken by IS yesterday to Harawa, 70 kilometres east of Sirte. Their releases had been demanded by Harawa elders in the ongoing negotiations between themselves and IS about surrendering the town to the latter. Negotiations started a week ago when elders found that no one was going to help them stand up to the militants.
It is also reported that shortly after the IS group arrived in the town, LNA aircraft appeared in the skies, prompting it to make a hurried departure. [/restrict]
