Tripoli, 9 April 2015:
In a joint effort by the University of Tripoli’s Faculty of Physical Education and Sports . . .[restrict]Science, the Libyan Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Health, students were challenged to “Get up and move!” in the cause of improved physical fitness.
In celebration of this week’s World Health Organisation’s World Health Day, students were invited to participate in a ten kilometre bike race from Martyrs’ Square to the College of Physical Education, a five-block walk or a run from the Ministry of Health to the College of Physical Education.
Various contests measuring strength and agility, such as a “tractor” pull, for teams and individuals were also set up on the grounds of the university.
