Mahir Al-Shairy has been replaced as media director for the House of Representatives (HoR) by . . .[restrict]former Tobruk radio station announcer Abdullah Awad Al-Obeidi.
Of his new post, Obeidi has said that one of his main goals starting out will be to use the media to bring clarity to the roles of various committees of the HoR for the Libyan public.
He further stressed that he intends to open up more opportunities for members of the media to report freely from within the delegations and conferences held or attended by members of the HoR both in and outside of Libya. [/restrict]
