Benghazi, 6 April, 2015:
There is mystery this evening concerning the fate of the commander of the Libyan National . . .[restrict]Army (LNA) troops involved in the continuing fierce clashes between the LNA and Misrata’s Third Force in Brak Al-Shatti, in central Libya.
Colonel Mohamed Ben Nael was captured two days ago by the Third Force in the village of Qira near Brak airbase and reportedly been taken to Tripoli.
There are unconfirmed reports that he has since died, possibly of a bullet wound sustained during his capture. At the time of publishing, it has not been possible to verify or deny the reports. [/restrict]
