A workshop was held in Istanbul 2-5 March on the Libyan State Budget in light . . .[restrict]of the financial deficit, the Libyan Audit Bureau reports.
The workshop was supported by the IMF and the World Bank, and was attended by the Libyan Audit Bureau, the Central Bank of Libya, the Libyan Ministries of Finance, Planning, Oil, as well as the NOC and the Economic Development Board.
The workshop came up with a series of proposals and scenarios for the forthcoming 2015 Libyan budget in view of the current realistic economic situation in Libya.
Moreover, a number of strategies and policies were proposed for the Libyan state in order to reduce the state deficit and to improve the economy. [/restrict]
