Cairo, 27 November 2014:
The President of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh Gwaider arrived in Cairo this evening . . .[restrict]at the head of a delegation for four days of talks with Egyptian officials about the situation in Libya. He is due also to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi during the visit.
The planned talks are expected to focus on support Egypt can give to help both the House and the Thinni government, in particular in the conflict with Islamist militants in the east of the country and Libya Dawn in the west.
Further measures to prevent cross-border smuggling will also be discussed as will moves for dialogue between Libya’s rival groups.
