There contradictory reports as to how he died. According to LANA Tripoli (the pro-Libya Dawn wing of the national news agency), the sole member in Congress for the Libyan Party for Liberty and Development died in the clashes in Obari.
However, other reports claim that he was accidentally shot in Tripoli in a fight between members of his family.
“The General National Congress GNC, sends its condolences to the family,” GNC spokesperson Omar Hemidan told the Libya Herald. [/restrict]
