Benghazi, 28 November 2014:
An Air Force commander has been shot and killed by unknown assailants in Ajdabiya, a town . . .[restrict]that had previously not been subjected to the assassinations frequently happening in Benghazi, Derna and now Tripoli.
Colonel Abdul Majid Kaseh Al-Zwai was the commander of one of the brigades said to be involved in the liberation of Tripoli.
According to witnesses and security camera footage from the area, three assailants used their vehicle to stop Al-Zwai’s car on Al-Wafaq street in Ajdabiya. Al-Zwai managed to shoot and kill one of the attackers before the two others killed him.
The two surviving gunmen then escaped. The authorities are using the security footage to try to identify and track the assassins. [/restrict]
