Tripoli, 27 October 2014:
The Libyan Judges Organisation (LJO) has condemned the kidnapping of a lawyer south of Benghazi.
Abdul . . .[restrict]Nasser Al-Geroushi, an assistant attorney general and member of the LJO, was kidnapped by unknown armed men on his way from his village to Benghazi late Sunday night.
In a statement posted on their social media page, the organisation called for the monitoring and documenting of, as well as the prosecution of, the ongoing abductions happening in Libya.
They stated that abductions were a violation of human rights and inconsistent with Islamic law and the values of a principled society.
