A privately-chartered aircraft landed 360 Turkish workers in Istanbul late last night, after evacuating them from . . .[restrict]Ghat airport, where they had been trapped for six days in increasingly difficult conditions.
The Turks, mostly working in and around Obari, were pulled out of their workplaces, as ethnic clashes threatened their security. A further 36 of their compatriots made their way to Misrata where, yesterday they also managed to fly to Istanbul
