Jordan’s Foreign Ministry has become the latest country to tell its citizens to leave the . . .[restrict]Libya as soon as possible and not to travel to it because of the deteriorating security situation.
A week ago, Jordan has warned its citizens to avoid going to areas of conflict in Libya.
On Tuesday, the US State Department advised Americans told to leave Libya immediately, saying that Libyan security was “unpredictable and unstable”.
Filipinos have also been advised this week by their government to leave Libya. There is no sign as yet, however, that significant numbers of the 14,000 Filipinos are leaving. [/restrict]
