Hitachi Construction Machinery is . . .[restrict]making a return to the Libyan market though its authorised dealer in the country, Al-Qima Heavy Machinery, itself part of the O. Muttawa Business Group.
Al-Qima is preparing to open a Hitachi sales and service facility in the capital’s Seraj district soon.
Al-Qima says its initial focus will be on reacquainting the local market with Hitachi construction equipment.
As well as the usually recognised construction equipment such as excavators, loaders and compaction machines, Hitachi also makes excavator-based anti-personnel landmine removal equipment, which may make a few sales in Libya.
The official launch of Al Qima Heavy Machinery and Hitachi Construction Machinery will take place Monday, 19 May at 12 noon at Libya Build, stand no. 15. [/restrict]
