European Commission workshop on Transport in Libya

Tripoli, 15 May 2014:

A workshop on the strategic role of Libyan ports development and transport is being organized by . . .[restrict]the National Research Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and the European Commission. The workshop is planned for 6-7 October.

Fathi Esahiri, Head of the Research Group and organizer told Libya Herald today that the aim of this major workshop was to focus on the role of port  development in Libya, including infrastructure, management and HR. The aim is to implement this in phases and with the cooperation and assistance of the European Commission.

Further details of speakers and content of the workshop will be revealed in the coming weeks, he promised.
