Benghazi, 5 May 2014:
A Benghazi reporter with Libya Ahrar TV, Hassan Bakoush, survived what appears to be a murder attempt this morning. He was travelling in a taxi in the city’s Kish district when shots were fired from another vehicle. There was no damages other than one of the taxi’s windows being smashed.
The identity of the assailants and their motive are unknown. However, Bakoush has been active reporting on the fighting early Friday morning between Ansar Al-Sharia and Saiqa special forces.
