The airline said it was closely monitoring the situation in Libya and would “take the appropriate decision in regard to its operations to Libya.” Royal Jordanian currently operates ten flights per week to Tripoli, four to Benghazi and two to Misrata.
Passengers with questions relating to their flights have been asked to contact the airline.
British Airways and Alitalia are still suspending flights to Libya following a security breach at Tripoli International Airport in March. Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines stopped flying to Libya after the incident. [/restrict]
