Tripoli, 30 March 2014:
Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines have extended flight cancellations to Tripoli until at least 7 April.
“We will then . . .[restrict]decide again when we can restart operations,” a spokesperson for Lufthansa told the Libya Herald.
Lufthansa and Austrian first cancelled flights to Tripoli International Airport on 22 March, after a missile attack the previous day damaged the runway at airport.
The damaged runway was quickly fixed but Lufthansa, Austrian and British Airways have been slow to resume flights. [/restrict]
