An Iraqi national was found dead in his car this morning in Sirte. He had been shot.
The body . . .[restrict]of the 54-year-old man was found in downtown Sirte, according to Libyan news agency LANA. He had been working in the Facility of Medicine at the University of Sirte and it is thought he was on his way to work when he was killed.
An Iraqi lecturer working at Derna’s Omar Mukhtar University was kidnapped in November last year. He is believed to have been killed after a video claiming to show his execution was posted on Facebook, although this was later removed. [/restrict]
