A private jet carrying 10,833,600 ballot papers from Dubai landed at Mitiga airport yesterday.
The consignment consisted of 51 different versions, according to the number of constituencies and the number of allocated seats for specific candidates. The two-colour design features blue for general candidates, and pink for ethnic minorities and women.
HNEC board member Khaled Asahli said the printing was done in Dubai because the printing presses used there were of a very high quality. [/restrict]
