Tripoli Al-Ahly has signed a deal with top Spanish football club Barca to train young Libyan footballers in . . .[restrict]Barcelona.
The deal will see groups of young players from Al-Ahly spend one month a year at Barcelona’s La Masia youth academy, according to Supersport.
Earlier this month, former Barcelona star Jose Maria Bakero spent three days in Tripoli watching young football players training and discussing co-operation between the two clubs. Al-Ahly is interested in working with Barca to set up a football academy similar to La Masia. [/restrict]
