A police officer and a member of the Saiqa Special Forces were killed in two separate . . .[restrict]incidents in Benghazi yesterday.
Walid Ali Jaballah Al-Dirissi, from the Special Forces, was killed near Souk Al-Masreya yesterday from three gunshots to the neck.
Newly-graduated police officer and member of Benghazi Security Directorate, Ismael Arathi Al-Zwai, was also killed yesterday. He was shot three times in Khaleej Street, in the city’s Laithi district and was pronounced dead on arrival at Benghazi Medical Centre (BMC).
A second member of the Special Forces survived an assassination attempt today, in the Al-Sirti area of the city. He is being treated in the BMC. [/restrict]
