The launch of a new medical journal was celebrated yesterday at Tripoli’s Abu Saleem Hospital.
The Hospital Medical . . .[restrict]Journal, a quarterly publication, was the brain-child of medical students Hatim Al-Riani and Mahmoud Bin-Fadel. Its mission is to publish peer-reviewed articles covering new fields of medical research. It will also be a platform for medical students to publish their own articles as well as find out more about workshops and events.
The jounal is supported by the Higher Institute of Medical Professionals in Khoms, the Libyan Association of Medical Science, the National Centre for Disease Control, Farah Laboratories Libya and the Ministy of Health. It is sponsored by White Flower Medical Equipment.
The first issue of the Hospital Medical Journal will be published in a fortnight. Submissions for future issues are welcomed. [/restrict]
