Two new cultural centres have been opened in Murzuk, with six further centres close to completion.
The . . .[restrict]centres, one in Murzuk and another on the outskirts of the town, in Funghal, were inaugurated on Monday by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Abdurrazag Al-Ibara.
The opening ceremonies were also attended by the President of Murzuk Local Council, Mohamed Adam, and Director of the Murzuk Office for Culture and Civil Society, Mohamed Sakkat, Deputy Murzuk Local Council President Driss Kashira told the Libya Herald.
Six other centres in the Murzuk region will be inaugurated in the next few weeks, Kashira added.
Equipment for the centres has been funded by the Ministry of Culture. [/restrict]
