Interior Ministry calls on all members of police to report for duty

Tripoli, 19 November 2013:

The Ministry of Interior has called upon all members of the police currently absent from work to report . . .[restrict]to duty immediately.

Any police not back at work by the end of November may face legal proceedings, according to Libyan news agency LANA.

An increased police presence is being noticed across the capital, with uniformed officials being deployed today at junctions to control traffic. [/restrict]
