Britain condemned the kidnapping, in the early hours of this morning, of Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, . . .[restrict]before his apparent release at around eleven o’clock.
The UK’s Foreign Secretary William Hague condemned the abduction and called for Zeidan’s immediate release. “It is vital that the process of political transition in Libya is maintained,” Hague said, “the government and people of Libya have our full support at this concerning time.” [/restrict]
