Tripoli, 5 September 2013:
The General National Congress (GNC) has announced who will take up senior roles in the newly-formed . . .[restrict]Administrative Control Authority (ACA), which aims to cut through bureaucracy.
Abdulsalam Mohamed Said Al-Hasi has been named as head, with Nasser Mohamed Ali Hassan taking up the role of deputy.
The GNC decided to set up the ACA in June this year, to improve financial and administrative bureaucracy. It has the right to investigate suspected cases of administrative and financial misconduct.
Congresswoman Naema Hami previously told the Libya Herald that setting up the ACA would ease the workload of the Audit Bureau. [/restrict]
