Congress has rescheduled the vote for a new First Deputy President to replace Juma Ateega . . .[restrict]who resigned following the enactment of the Political Isolation Law. The vote should have happened on Sunday but is now due to take place tomorrow, Tuesday.
The candidates are:
- Omar Khaled al-Obeidi (Independent, Benghazi)
- Ezzidden Mohamed Younis Yahya Al-Awami (Independent, Marj)
- Awad Mohammed Awad Abdul Saddeq (Independent, Jalu).
