Tripoli, 23 August 2013:
A bomb exploded outside the Tripoli home of Congress member Sulaiman Gajama, early Wednesday morning. According . . .[restrict]to his Facebook page, Gajama, an independent who represents Yefren and who sits on Oil Committee, was woken around 2.15 am by a strong explosion that shook the walls of his house in Tripoli’s Siyahiya district. It did not cause any material damage.
“We looked at the street from the front door’s camera and saw two cars speeding away but could not identify them,” Gajam stated on the page.
He said he did not hold any party or town or tribe responsible for the attack, adding that as an independent politician he respects all political parties and blocks.
The attack is suspected to have been an attempt at intimidation. [/restrict]
