The embassy compound of the United Arab Emirates was attacked with a rocket-propelled grenade in the . . .[restrict]early hours of this morning.
The missile hit a building in the compound at around 6 am, an embassy official told the Libya Herald.
There were no injuries, he said, as the building was unoccupied at the time of the attack. The explosion did, however, cause some structural damage.
The UAE embassy compound is in the Gergaresh district of Tripoli, an area which houses many embassies. [/restrict]
