Benghazi, 29 July 2013:
Benghazi’s Benina Airport has been closed for maintenance this afternoon. It will reopen at 7 am tomorrow, Tuesday, . . .[restrict]morning.
The overnight closure is to enable essential maintenance work to be carried out on the airport’s runway. Some cracks have appeared in the tarmac, according to airport manager Jamal Al-Akely, and there are concerns that these could widen and become holes, if not addressed promptly. [/restrict]
