A 20-man Turkish business delegation will be in Libya from 19 to 24 May looking for trade and . . .[restrict]investment opportunities and hoping to further develop business relations between Turkey and Libya. As part of their trip, the members of the Tumsiad Industrial and Businessmen Association plan to visit the Libya Build show, which also opens on 19 May, as well as meet with Libyan businessmen. Members of the group represent companies involved in furniture, construction, hardware, PVC systems, renewable energy, the automotive industry, textiles and consultancy.
“We have made many business trips to the country before, and we’re now returning to see its export potential,’’ said Tunisad Chairman Hasan Sert.
The last Tumsiad delegation was in December last year when representatives from 25 Turkish companies visited Tripoli.
Tumisad is planning two open meetings with Libyan businessmen, the first at the Four Seasons Hotel in Tripoli on 20 May from 14:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs and the second at the Tibesti Hotel in Benghazi on 23 May at 10:30-13:00.
