”The Minister stressed that the priority with training must be given to the brotherly Arab countries and Libya in this transitional period requires the training of cadres in various fields”, Hatem Qayloushi, a member of the Planning Ministry media office, told the Libya Herald.
The meeting also discussed cooperation on security, health, education, electricity, and the need to take full advantage of the Arab League’s technical expertise and training programmes.
Qayloushi added that the Minister had confirmed that, in the economic sector, the Ministry was ready to treat the League as the main source of all economic information.
In addition, Aghnya noted that in its long-term plans, the Ministry would be looking for the League to provide help with expertise.
It was needed to give more space for foreign investment and reduce previously imposed restrictions, and to encourage the private sector to participate with the public sector in development programmes. [/restrict]
