Tripoli, 20 May 2013:
Deputy Prime Minister Awad Barasi, speaking at yesterday evening’s Prime Minister’s press conference, revealed that the . . .[restrict]newly formed Joint Security Room set up in Benghazi has been assigned an emergency budget of LD 15 million.
Rounding up and reviewing all the steps that the government had taken last week in response to the car “unplanned explosion”, as opposed to a detonated car bomb, the Deputy Minister insisted that the media inaccurately “exaggerated” the incident in Benghazi.
Barasi said that the Commandos and Army had now secured Benghazi and that Benghazi was now stable. [/restrict]
