Clashes in which two people were injured broke out in Sirte today in a dispute over fuel.
The Al-Garbabiya . . .[restrict]Brigade, commanded by Mahlouf Al-Nasr, had set up check points to stop motorists carrying fuel in cans. One driver reportedly refused to hand over his can of fuel and sped off to his home in the Nagah neighbourhood. Members of the brigade followed but when they attempted to detain him, crowds of locals gathered and clashes broke out, in which two unnamed individuals were injured. [/restrict]
