Plans are being discussed to build a permanent memorial in Benghazi to honour those who died in the . . .[restrict]17 February revolution.
The Ministry of Martyrs and Missing met today, Sunday, with representatives of civil society organisations as well as military institutions and local officials dealing with the files of martyrs and the missing to look at proposals for a monument.
Their suggestions will be forwarded to the Benghazi Local Council. The immediate objective is the formation of a committee to oversee the project.
