Palestinian businesses should contribute to Libya’s growth and invest in the country says the leader of Tripoli local . . .[restrict]council, Sadat Elbadri. Similarly, the Palestinian Ambassador in Tripoli, Al-Mutawakel Taha, wants Libyan businessmen and women to visit Palestine and support economic cooperation between the two countries.
The calls were made at first Palestine Libya Economic Forum which opened in Tripoli on Saturday. It is being held in to coincide with a three-day visit by a Palestinian trade delegation and has drawn significant interest from among the Libyan business community. At the forum was the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture as well as the heads of a number of Libyan business groups Libya.
In his speech, Elbadri said Palestinian businessman could significantly help in the economic renaissance of Libya. [/restrict]
