It has been . . .[restrict]reported today, Saturday, that Al-Hamali Ahmed Al-Hatmani, commander of the Wadi Eshatti Battalion, has been murdered.
He is credited as the man who told revolutionaries from Zintan where Saif Al-Islam was hiding. Although himself a revolutionary from the south, he reportedly gained Saif’s confidence in order to help capture him.
It is reported he was killed in the Wadi Eshetti’s Berqan area by a man nicknamed “Satour” (the Machete) who is said to be one of the main Qaddafi supporters in southern Libya. [/restrict]
