Danimex, the official distributor of Motorola in Libya, . . .[restrict]held a communications conference in Tripoli yesterday to discuss the company’s latest communications services and potential benefits for the country.
Attended by more than 50 people, the event attracted a number of high-level security officials interested in modernising the outdated communications systems currently deployed in their respective institutions.
The conference was addressed by Danimex Vice Chairman Aege Terp who explained how Libya could take advantage of the digital revolution taking place internationally and bring it up to speed with the new functionalities of communications technology.
The Danish company has extensive experience of working in emerging markets and hostile environments, and maintains offices in Denmark, the US, the UAE, Nigeria and Afghanistan. [/restrict]
