Tripoli, 13 September:
The court martial of the group of militiamen from Tarhouna arrested after they stormed Tripoli . . .[restrict]International Airport on 4 June resumed briefly in Tripoli today before again being adjourned.
Proceedings first started just over a fortnight ago, on 28 August, but after a presentation by the military prosecution they were adjourned so that public lawyers could be appointed for the defendants.
Sufficient lawyers still have not been found and the case was again rescheduled so that all the defendants could be represented. They are due to be back in court on 10 October.
However, the court decided to release three of the accused, provided they constantly report to the Military Court. The rest were ordered to be detained until the next hearing.
The court is being presided over by Brigadier General Ali Abdul-Jalil Teif. [/restrict]
