Benghazi, 26 September:

Immigration officials at Benghazi’s Benina Airport refused entry on Tuesday to 118 Egyptian workers who had arrived on a Egypt Air flight . . .[restrict]from the Red Sea resort of Marsa Alam in south eastern Egypt.  According to the Libyan authorities, they all had fake visas.

However, 81 Egyptians on the flight were deemed to have valid visas and were allowed into the country.

The 118 were put on a flight to Cairo where on arrival they were reportedly investigated by the Egyptian police. [/restrict]
