Zawia’s local council will hand over power to its elected successor at a ceremony tomorrow, at 11:30 pm at . . .[restrict]the city’s Research Centre.
Twenty one members were elected to the council on 17 July, with the results announced on 24 July. The member elected with the highest number of votes was selected as the council’s president. [/restrict]
