Tripoli, 27 May:
In a second night of raids against Tripoli’s drug dens, the Supreme Security Committee (SSC) last night raided the . . .[restrict]whereabouts of one of the city’s biggest drug dealers.
The SSC arrested the man, although they refused to release his identity, saying they did not wish to compromise ongoing operations. They also cited security concerns.
During the raid, a large quantity of drugs, along with 1,700 envelopes containing LD 550,000, were seized.
The case has now been referred to the public prosecutions service. [/restrict]
