On the trade side, it was confirmed by Messahel that a meeting would be organized in the Libyan border town of Ghadames in July for businessmen from both countries and that it would be expanded to include all fields such as energy and investment.
Abdul-Aziz stated that, for Libya, the agreement was a positive move and a new approach to relations between the two countries. He pointed out that a time frame for the implementation of this agreement had been set, adding that the agreement was proof that Algeria had an important role to play in regional decision-making.
