Security forces protecting the Iranian . . .[restrict]embassy in Tripoli fired into the air on Tuesday to disperse demonstrators who trieds to storm the Iranian embassy. They were protesting at Tehran’s support of the Assad regime in Damascus. No one was hurt although there are reports of some arrests.
On Saturday, anti-Assad protestors seized the Syrian embassy which they still control. On Sunday, they attacked the Russian Embassy following Russia’s and China’s veto of a UN Security Council resolution. The Chinese embassy was attacked on Monday.
