Tripoli, 26 April 2015:
Libya’s internationally-recognised government in Beida has approved funds of up to LD 35 million for . . .[restrict]the Crisis Committee in Bani Walid.
The decision made by the Council of Ministers paves the way for the Committee to be able to better assist the estimated 23,000 Libyans who have taken shelter there after fleeing fighting in other areas, particularly Warshefana.
The government announced that some half a million Libyans have been displaced by fighting around the country since January 2014. [/restrict]
