The House of Representatives (HoR) tonight issued a statement saying that terrorist groups were trying to . . .[restrict]control Libya’s and calling for the support of the international community.
The statement named, in particular, Ansar Al-Sharia, Libya Dawn and a number of Libya Dawn-affiliated armed groups, including a Misrata brigade called Farooq, which has been based in Sirte since the revolution.
These terrorist groups were trying to gain control of Libyan oil terminals for their own interests, the HoR said,and asked the international community to support Libyan National Army operations against this offensive.
