An engineer of Libya Post Company was kidnapped in Benghazi yesterday by three gunmen in an . . .[restrict]unidentified military vehicle.
“Three gunmen in a military-type vehicle without any identifying markings grabbed the engineer and immediately made off from the scene,” a fellow employee who was with the man when he was abducted told Libyan news agency LANA.
“He was snatched in front of Tibesti Hotel at around 1:30 pm while he was training fellow employees,” the spokesman of Benghazi Joint Security Room, Ibrahim Al-Sharaa, told the Libya Herald.
He added that the security authorities had launched an investigation into the kidnapping. [/restrict]
