Fireworks used to celebrate the Prophet’s Birthday yesterday left at least 234 people needing hospital treatment in the . . .[restrict]capital alone.
Some 45 people lost fingers in fireworks-related incidents, according to Libyan news agency LANA. Most of the other injured were children and young people who sustained burns.
Dozens of patients remained in Tripoli hospitals today, continuing to receive treatment. [/restrict]
