Subscribers must provide the Libya Herald with complete and accurate payment information in English. By submitting payment details subscribers promise that they are entitled to purchase a subscription using those payment details. If the Libya Herald does not receive payment authorisation or any authorisation is subsequently cancelled, the Libya Herald may immediately terminate or suspend the subscriber’s access to the subscription and may in suspicious circumstances contact the issuing bank/payment provider and/or law enforcement authorities/other appropriate third parties.
The subscription price is made clear on the Libya Herald’s subscription page as well as during the sign-up process and may vary from time to time. The subscriber agrees to pay the fees at the rates notified at the time the subscription is taken out. Other subscription services may only require a one-off payment.
The Libya Herald will charge in Libyan Dinars, Euros or US Dollars. The Libya Herald will always inform subscribers in advance of any increase in the price of the subscription and give subscribers the opportunity to not renew their subscription at the next renewal, if they do not wish to pay the new price.
Subscribers will be informed by email before the end of the subscription period that their subscription is coming up for renewed and given the option then to cancel renewal if they do not want to continue their subscription.
If a subscriber choses to pay monthly, half yearly or annually, the subscription will continue until the subscriber enails us that s/he no longer wishes to receive the service, in which case s/he will stop paying the monthly half-yearly or annual fees.
Subscribers must notify the Libya Herald before the end of their subscription period that they no longer wish to receive the service otherwise the subscription will renew automatically.
If the subscriber is entitled to a refund the Libya Herald will credit that refund to the card or other payment method the subscriber used to submit payment, unless it has expired in which case LH will contact the subscriber.
Cancellations:
a) For subscribers who subscribe on a monthly basis. If a monthly subscriber cancels their subscription after the renewal period has started, and Libya Herald has started providing the service then a subscriber is not entitled to a refund for that monthly subscription period. Notice to cancel must be confirmed before the next month is due for renewal.
b) For subscribers who subscribe on a six-monthly or annual basis. In the case of renewals, if a six-monthly or annual subscriber cancels the subscription after the renewal period has started, then the subscriber agrees that once the Libya Herald has started providing it, the cancellation will come into effect one month after the Libya Herald has been notified by email of the cancellation. A refund for the remaining period will be issued on a pro-rata basis.
We will charge the subscription using the same card or other payment method that you previously used.
