Kufra Airport announced last Tuesday (17 February) that its runway and taxiway lighting has been activated, following several days of continuous efforts by the Electricity and Runway Lighting Unit.
This has resulted in the full operation of the lighting system, enhancing the airport’s readiness and raising the level of operational safety for aircraft during nighttime operations.
